Tip No.12 - How to spend your commission

With this tip I'm going to tell you how you go about redeeming your commission.

It really is very straight forward.

First off, you can check what credit you have earned at anytime by logging in to your account and going to the manage your MoreFrom.Me section. On this page you'll see 'Total Commission Earned' and 'Commission Available to Spend'. Total commission earned is the amount for all your sales, including any pending commission and commission available to spend is what you can spend today.
All sales are marked as pending for 30 days from the purchase date. We have this pending period in case any orders are cancelled or returned. To see the status of all your sales individually click on 'statement' in the left hand menu. From here you'll see the details of orders that have been placed via your MoreFrom.Me.
To spend the credit you've earned - start by logging in to your account. Next select the item you want to buy and put it in your basket. When you go to your basket you'll see 'Morefrom.me credit available' and the amount of credit you have to spend (in pink type). Just below that you'll see 'To redeem credit enter amount here:' and a box you can type in. Enter the amount of your credit you want to spend and click the 'redeem' button. The amount will then be deducted from your basket total. You can now proceed with your purchase.

If you want to buy something using using credit only - enter an amount of credit that matches the basket total and click redeem. A 'Pay with credit' button will replace the 'Pay by card' button - click the 'Pay with credit' button and we'll process your order.

One final thing - you can spend your credit on any MoreFrom Group website, as long as you are logged in it will work.

5 Ways to sell more with your MoreFrom.Me

Here's a few ideas to help you spread the word about your MoreFrom.Me online shop. These tips are all about giving your friends, contacts, customers and family members reason to visit your MoreFrom.Me. The more times they visit, the more chance you have of them remembering your store.

1. Let people know what you like and recommend.
Pick out the products that you like or own and add them to your list of recommended products(these will then appear on your MoreFrom.Me's homepage). Then share your recommendations (via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, email etc.). You could share a link to all your recommended items, but it's better to spread them out and share one a week.

2. Write a quick review of a product and share that.
Write a couple of sentences about a product you've used, it will take pride of place on your MoreFrom.Me. You can then send a "I've just reviewed the XYZ, go take a look" message out to all your contacts. Chances are they'll be more than happy to hear what you have to say about it. Then next time they're in the market for the item, they may remember your review and come back to buy one.

3. Tell people what the best sellers are.
You can use the info we get from MoreComputers.com to pick out the weeks hot products. Take a look at the MoreComputers.com best sellers to see what products are popular right now. If you like the look of something, go to that product on your MoreFrom.Me and share it with your contacts. With a quick "Take a look at the best selling XYZ" message.

4. Keep your eye out for great deals to share.
This one gives you a back door in to our website, as a trusted MoreFrom.Me partner, we'll let you see all the products that have been reduced in price. Go tohttp://www.morecomputers.com/reductions.aspx and you can browse through every product that's marked down in price. There's a lot of products, but you can find some great deals to shout about.

5. Tell people about new products.
This is another 'special link', this one will show you all the products that have been added to your MoreFrom.Me. Go to: http://www.morecomputers.com/productlist.aspx?n=newtoday and you see everything that has just been added to to MoreComputers.com (so it's also on your site). Some days there will be lots of new stuff, some days not so much. With a bit of poking around you can find interesting new products with the latest speeds and sizes. Sharing new items with your contacts is a great way to get them to your MoreFrom.Me site.

Remember the more you talk about your MoreFrom.Me, and the more reasons you give people to visit, the more sales you'll make and more sales means more commission for you.

Tip No.11 - An instant Email Newsletter made for you

Email and Twitter are both great ways to promote your MoreFrom.Me - this is a quick way to combine the two.

Although Twitter is gaining in popularity, there will still be a lot of people you know who don't use it. So if you do tweet on a regular basis, this tool let's you make an email 'newsletter' from your tweets to send out weekly.

It also adds in some general IT news from leading magazine PC Pro for an extra bit of tech news. You can see an example Email of Tweets here.

Get an email newsletter of your tweets
Find in My Account
Log in to your 'My Account' and go to the 'Manage your MoreFrom.Me' area. In the menu on the lefthand side, under tools, click on the 'Twitter Newsletter' link. Enter your Twitter username then click the 'Send me my Twitter newsletter' button below. You will then be sent an email of your tweets, to forward on to your contacts.

Tip No.10 - Use an email signature to promote your MoreFrom.Me

Below are just some of the email signature options available. Your MoreFrom.Me details are used to automatically generate your signature. If you use your logo on your MoreFrom.Me, there's an option that automatically generates a signature with your logo image included.

If you log in to your 'My Account' and go to the 'Manage my MoreFrom.Me' area you'll notice it's had a facelift. We've added a new 'dashboard' style stats area. You can now see:
  • How many visits your MoreFrom.Me has had
  • How many sales you've made
  • & How much commission you've earned
Below that you'll also see an at a glance summery of your 'site status' - it shows you what tools and features you are using and which ones you've yet to try.

The other thing we've added is a section that will show you what products people are looking at on your MoreFrom.Me

This is just the start, we plan to add more data and reporting here to help you manage your MoreFrom.Me

Tip No.9 - Promote your MoreFrom.Me with website links and banners

If you have a website of any description, why not put a link on that site to your MoreFrom.Me? A prominent link will let people discover that you now sell 1000s of tech products. Don't panic if you're not a skilled web designer, we've prepared the code and graphics you need to make it easy.

We've added a new section called Links and Widgets to the MoreFrom.Me management area of your My Account. We plan to add more and more banners and widgets to this area in the coming months. The idea is to make it easier for you to shout about your MoreFrom.Me site.

At the moment you'll find the line of code you need to add a simple text link, shown in the example below.

There's also several different banners in various sizes, colours, again a couple of these are shown below.

How to grab the code for these banners
Find under 'My Account'
Log in to your 'My Account' and go to the 'Manage your MoreFrom.Me' area. In the menu on the lefthand side, under tools, click on the 'Links and Widgets' link. Here you'll find all the code you need to add a link or banner.

It's great to talk

Posted By Brian Trevaskiss

The other week I asked; What can we do to improve the way MoreFrom.Me is working for you?. I've had some great feedback emails and spoke on the phone with a lot of MoreFrom.Me-ers. There's been some good ideas for new features and things we can work on going forward, I'll cover those in future posts.

One of the reoccurring themes was 'I like the idea but how do I promote my MoreFrom.Me'.

I'd like to share with you the advice I gave to one MoreFrom.Me-er in particular. This is the feedback that came in:

'I have to be honest, my initial interest in http://www.morefrom.me/from.aspx?me=michealcolhoun has left me a little confused about how to promote it'.

Like a lot of early MoreFrom.Me-ers, Micheal has a background in IT and is running his own small business. His company is called Colhoun Technology Solutions that has a website at http://www.cts-ni.com/. To help Micheal, I explained what I would do if I were in his position. Here's an extract from my reply to him, I hope you find it useful too.
I'll try and put myself in your shoes and show you what I would do to promote MoreFrom.Me/MichealColhoun. I apologies now if I've made some wrong assumptions about your business -

If I were you, I'd set up a new MoreFrom.Me using your business name - You can choose to have a .Me or a .Biz version of MoreFromMe, so I'd go for www.morefrom.biz/Colhoun or www.morefrom.biz/cts-ni

I'd then skin it to match your http://www.cts-ni.com/ site - I'd put the same logo on the top of the site and choose the same colour scheme.

I'd then pick the products I'd like to appear on my home page - by adding them as recommended products.

To enhance the site further, I'd add short reviews of these products - taking the content from http://www.cts-ni.com/

To show you what can be achieved - in terms of customisation I've produced this test site - http://www.morefrom.me/default.aspx?me=colhoun_test

You can see the recommended products on the homepage and the star rating I've given them. When you click through on a recommended product you'll see (as in this example) that the review is highlighted, this only happens on the MoreFrom.Me that belongs to the reviewer.

Next I would write a news post on www.cts-ni.com and send an email out to everyone I know - Telling them I've recently partnered with MoreFrom to sell online. I'd say I can now offer a massive range of tech products for sale (over 100,000).

I'd then post links to this news on Facebook and Twitter.

I'd then set about putting links on www.cts-ni.com that take people to http://www.morefrom.me/default.aspx?me=colhoun_test

I'd put a banner on the home page - we've produced some code for banners (they are in the manage your MoreFrom.Me area under Banners & Widgets). Or you could produce your own 'Shop Online' banner in your own graphic style.

Going forward, every time I added a review to www.cts-ni.com I'd include a 'buy it now' link that went to the product page of the http://www.morefrom.me/default.aspx?me=colhoun_test

Basically it's about linking your existing site and content to your MoreFrom.Me - I believe it will work well. Even the big brands like HP and Sony have separate info and shop websites. We've also just added a function that lets you have a link back from your MoreFromMe to your own site - that will help people get back to your main site.

If you'd like to discuss anything here or chat about MoreFrom.Me, send me some feedback or leave a comment below.

What can we do to improve the way MoreFrom.Me works for you?

How are you getting on with your MoreFrom.Me?

Is there anything you'd like to see changed, added or removed?

It's a new idea and we're keen to understand what we can do to make your MoreFrom.Me work better for you.

We're constantly developing new features so what would be on your wish list? Anything you can tell us will help shape the way MoreFrom.Me evolves.

Is anything stopping you, when it comes to using or promoting your MoreFrom.Me? We might be able to change it to make it work for you.

We're looking to accommodate your ideas and remove any barriers, so it will be great to hear from you.

If you have any feedback, just let us know in comments below or send us your feedback and we'll be sure to get back to you.

Tip No.8 - Send an email of your recommended products

With this email generator you can really show people what you're all about. It simply turns the products you've added to your list of recommended products in to an email. You can then forward the email on to your contacts and they can click through to your MoreFrom.Me.

So if you're a business that specialises in CCTV equipment you can send your customers an email of just the products you recommend. Or if you're Apple accessories expert, your email will be filled with Mac goodness only.

How to get an email of your recommended products
Find under 'My Account'
As usual you'll need to log in, via the My Account link and head to 'Manage your MoreFrom.Me', from the right hand column, choose 'My Recommended eMail'. There's a brief summary and a 'see how My Recommended Products email looks' link. A click on this link will show you your latest recommended products in the email format with your MoreFrom.Me branding at the top. To create the email click on the 'Send me My Recommended Products email' button. You'll then receive an email to forward on to your contacts.

You can change the content of the email by adding and removing products from your 'My Recommended' list.

No.7 - Likes, Tweets and sharing to promote your MoreFrom.Me

In this tip, we want to cover the contents of what we call the 'share box'. We need to stress that all the share functions in this box are set up to send links that go to your MoreFrom.Me. Any sharing you do from here will send people to you, so you won't miss out on any commission.
You'll see this box on your MoreFrom.Me product pages, it contains lots of great ways to promote your MoreFrom.Me. When you find a product you'd like to tell people about on, these buttons provide a quick and easy way to do so.

Some of 'share box' contents may be familiar to you, but in this tip we're going to look at each button individually.

The Facebook 'Like' button
Probably the most familiar Facebook button there is and the most popular. The thing to remember with the 'Like' button is - if you don't type anything in to the comments box, nothing will appear in the 'News Feed' of your Facebook friends. So it won't help to promote you MoreFrom.Me

The Facebook 'Share' button
A click on the 'Share' button will take you to a Facebook page, you get a bit more control over what you are sharing with the 'Share' button. You can choose to add a comment or not. You can edit the heading and sub heading text we provide. You can also choose what thumbnail photo to use (or choose to show no thumbnail at all). You can also add a Facebook share button to your browser.

The Facebook 'Send' button
Probably the least familiar Facebook button, but one of the best for promoting your MoreFrom.Me. The 'Send' button give you the option to send a private Facebook message to your friends. You can choose to send to a number of friends or just one. You can also send to any groups you are a member of, so you can reach a much wider group of people. From the 'Send' button you can also add individual 'non Facebook' email addresses - so you can send to anyone. The message people get from you will contain an image and link to your MoreFrom.Me - so it looks great.

The Twitter 'Tweet' button
Hit the 'Tweet' button and a Twitter box will appear. The description text of the product and a link to your MoreFrom.Me will already be in the box. You can then edit it or add your own comment. The link URL will automatically be shortened when you press 'Tweet'.

The Google '+1' button
The easiest way to describe the Google '+1' button is that it does all the things the Facebook buttons do in one. If you're logged in to your Google account, the +1 button will record that you liked the product when you click the button. This is not much use when it comes to promoting your MoreFrom.Me. If you have set up the 'Google +' element of your Google account you can do all sorts of fancy sharing. You'll get the option to post a comment, and be able to choose which 'circles' see it, you can choose all circles and even to make the comment public.

The LinkedIn 'In Share' button
A click on 'In Share' button will take you to a LinkedIn screen where you can add a comment and share details in pretty much the same way as you do with the Facebook 'Share' button. The details of a product you share will be posted as a status update on your LinkedIn account. The people you are connected with on LinkedIn will then be able to find out about your MoreFrom.Me and follow the link to take a look.

The 'Email' button
Not everyone uses the social networks we've talked about, but pretty much everyone has an email address. This button could well be your best form of promotion. Press the 'Email' button and you can send a quick email to anyone right from the page. As with the social media share buttons above, the details of the product are copied into you email text - ready to go. From the 'Email' button you can also use your saved contacts in Google Mail, Yahoo!, Hotmail etc.

The 'Add This' 'More' button
This is the white + on an orange background button. Behind this button you'll find the share options for hundereds of weird and wonderful social networks. So if your favorite share button is not in our 'share box' there's a good chance it will be in here.

These share options are not just on the product pages of your MoreFrom.Me. You'll also find them at the top of your 'category' and 'sub category' pages. So if you simply want to tell someone that they can choose from over 500 laptops on your MoreFrom.Me. You can share a link to your notebooks page.

If all this sounds too 'modern' for you, you can always press the print button and hand deliver a copy of your favorite product page to your potential customer!

Good luck with your promotion, let us know if you find an interesting way to promote your MoreFrom.Me or if you can think of something we can add to help you promote.

Tip No.6 - Promoting your MoreFrom.Me with your own best sellers email

We've talked a lot about personalising your MoreFrom.Me, now it's time to talk about promoting it. There's lots of ways to tell people about your MoreFrom.Me, too many for one tip, so in this first one we'll talk about email.

Now you won't be too popular if you email everyone in your contact list everyday, but a few carefully selected emails every now and then are a great way promote your MoreFrom.Me. To make it easy we've developed a personalised version of our popular best sellers email. We send an email to our customers every Friday with the weeks best selling, most looked at and reviewed products. It's a great way to keep people up-to-date with popular tech gadgets - without a pushy sell, sell, sell email. You can have the same email to send to your contacts, with your name at the top and with all the links going to your MoreFrom.Me

How to get your personalised best sellers email
Find under 'My Account'
Log in to your 'My Account' and go to the 'Manage your MoreFrom.Me' area. Click on the 'Marketing Email' link and under the heading 'Your own marketing email' you'll see the details for the best sellers mail. Click on the 'see how your Best Sellers email looks' to see a sample e-mail. Click on the 'Send me my best sellers email'. Your version of the best sellers email will be sent to the email address you used when you set up your MoreFrom.Me

When your mail arrives in your inbox you can simply hit forward, add your own content or message and send it to your contact list. If you're not afraid of code, you could cut and paste the email code in to an editor and add your own intro text and anything else, before sending it out.

Tip No.5 - The option to earn more if you charge more

This tip is all about prices and commission. When your MoreFrom.Me is first set up, the prices are set to be exactly the same as the MoreFrom group websites. We expect most people will stick with this default price setting, but there is an option to charge more and earn more commission.

We don't claim the default, MoreFrom group prices will be the cheapest prices all of the time - for all 100,000 products, but many will be. Products that are not the cheapest will be very competitive. Smart shoppers do not shop on price alone, they consider the reputation of the retailer and we have a great reputation. It's also worth remembering that with us the price you see is the price you pay, unlike other retailers we don't charge for delivery or add hidden credit card fees.

At the default price you always earn the default commission of 1% of the sale price. To some, 1% may not seem a lot but it is actually the average profit margin for the top 1,000 IT resellers in the UK. The commission you earn is paid as credit to spend on anything sold in your MoreFrom.Me. With over 100,000 technology products you won't be short of things to buy with your credit. It's worth noting we are happy to pay our MoreFrom.Me-ers this commission for giving us the business, we do not increase the price in any way to cover the cost.

For most people selling to friends and family the default price will work just fine. For others (predominately IT dealers and resellers) there's the option to charge a bit more and earn a bit more.

One of the most unique features of your MoreFrom.Me is that you can change the prices. Many IT companies spend a lot of time with their clients, researching and recommending the right products and IT solutions. Their clients appreciate this time and expertise and are happy to pay for it. Typically an IT consultancy providing this level of service will be looking to earn more margin on it's sales. With this in mind, we've developed MoreFrom.Me with the ability to charge more for a product and earn more commission under such circumstances.

If you decide you want to earn more commission, it's done by adding a percentage mark-up to our default price. You choose what percentage mark-up to add and we split what you add 50/50. So for example if you add 6% we get 3% and you get 3%. Plus you also get the default 1% commission giving you a total of 4%. The current maximum mark-up is 25%, so the maximum you can earn is half of that, 12.5% plus the 1% making 13.5%.

How to change the prices to earn more commission
Find under 'My Account'
Log in to your 'My account' and go to the 'Manage your MoreFrom.Me' area. Click on the 'Prices' link, you'll then see a 'pull down selector' set at 'Add 0% to our price'. When you click on the selector you can choose to add a percentage mark-up. You'll also see some examples of how the new price will look and how much you will earn in commission. When you've picked your percentage, click 'Save'.

It's so easy to instantly change the price, you could change your mark-up depending on who you are targeting, then change it back again for someone else.

If you are an IT company you may find our Q&A for IT Dealers and PC Retailers useful.

The MoreFrom.Me IT Business Q&A

The launch of Morefrom.Me has generated a lot of interest from IT Dealers and PC Retailers. Many have set-up a MoreFrom.Me and are making sales already. Others have been considering how to use a MoreFrom.Me and asking some interesting questions. We've had some great conversations and thought it worth sharing the questions and answers.

Q. Is 1% commission the most you can offer?
A. The standard 1% is the starting point for commission, you can earn up to 13.5%.

It's also just been reported that 1% is actually the average profit margins among the UK’s top 1,000 resellers.

Q. So, how do I earn more commission?
A. One of the unique things about MoreFrom.Me is that you can add a mark-up to the prices to increase your commission. Unlike an affiliate scheme were the selling price is fixed by the retailer. With a MoreFrom.Me you can charge more to earn more.

Q. How does the price mark-up work?
A. You choose what percentage mark-up to add and we split what you add 50/50. So for example if you add 6% we get 3% and you get 3%. Plus you also get the standard 1% commission giving you a total of 4%. The current maximum mark-up is 25%, so the maximum you can earn is half of that, 12.5% plus the 1% making 13.5%.

Q. How do I change the prices on my MoreFrom.Me?
A. There's a simple 'pull down selector' in the 'Manage your MoreFrom.Me' area of your 'My Account'. You select a percentage, hit save and it's automatically applied to your MoreFrom.Me. It's so easy to change the price, you can decide what you want to charge for different customers. You could change your mark-up depending on who you are targeting, then change it back again for someone else.

Q. I'll earn more by selling to customers myself. Why would I use MoreFrom.Me ?
A. MoreFrom.Me may not be a solution for all your customers, and you may want to deal with some customers directly to maximise your profit. But what about those that you don't normally have time to deal with or who are not worth your time. You could just selectively promote your MoreFrom.Me to those customers. Otherwise you can bet they will be off to the nearest PC shop and you will earn nothing from that. After all we don't charge any ongoing fee!

Q. Whats the difference between this and a "shop in a box" or "white label"?
A. We do everything for Free!
- No monthly web store fees
- No web hosting/security/bandwidth fees
- No Visa/PayPal/ebay merchant fees
- No need to buy, deliver and chase payment
- No site maintenance & development costs
- No customer service staff costs
- No stock & warehousing costs
- No returns headaches

Q. So, what costs am I saving using MoreFrom.Me?
A. The main cost is your time. Once you've selected the right product for your customer, you can email them a link to it on your MoreFrom.Me and we take care of everything else. That saves you a lot of time, plus there's no invoicing and banking costs, costs that are often overlooked.

Q. I've worked hard to gain my customers, how do I know you won't steal them?
A. We've no incentive to do so, your customers are of more value to us when they continue being your customers. They have a relationship with you and they are more likely to shop somewhere you recommend to them (i.e. your MoreFrom.Me). So because we're in this for the long term benefits, it's better if you keep them and we work together. They won't be sent any marketing from us.

Q. How do I know you won't let my customers down?
A. We have a very good reputation for customer service, we've consistently won awards and scored highly in independent service and reliability surveys. Looking after customers is what we are good at, take a look at our track record of award wins.

Q. I already have an e-commerce website why should I swap?
A. The question is - is your current online shop making you money or costing you money and time? The MoreFrom.Me solution frees up your time, costs nothing and gives you a guaranteed margin. To get sales through your existing shop, your prices need to be very low, so your profit is very small.

Take costs like monthly site fees, merchant costs and development time out of your profit and you're probably left with less than 1% on average. MoreFrom.Me gives you a 1% minimum for doing very little in comparison. Independent analysts Plimsoll recently reported that the average profit margins among the UK’s top 1,000 resellers have fallen to 1%. So even with a MoreFrom.Me set at the 1% minimum, you're guaranteed to be more profitable than the average, because you've got no other costs.

Q. I'd like to run a MoreFrom.Me from our domain, have you got any plans to allow for a custom DNS setup etc?
A. You can set up a domain to point to www.MoreFrom.biz/YOURNAME, but the site would need to use our URLs from then on. IT pro's like us tend to look at things like URLs, but it's worth remembering the majority of people don't even think about it, they'll be looking at the content on the page.

Q. Won't people just see the 'More' references and go to the 'More' site?
A. The connection to MoreFrom and MoreComputers is obvious to you, knowing where the idea has come from and who told you about it. Plus, if you have bought from us in the past, you are aware of our brand. The truth is any visitors you send to your MoreFrom.Me will know about you and won't be looking for 'More', they've probably never heard of us.

Your MoreFrom.Me is pitched as a partnership with MoreFrom, so it does bring the benefit of our service and support awards. These awards give your buyers extra confidence to shop online. We've also removed any links that might have directed people to a 'More' site. We want people to stick with the person they know (you), not come to us. We believe we'll get more business that way in the long run.

Q. Can I order for myself through my MoreFrom.Me and still earn commission?
A. Yes, of course. Any sale made at your MoreFrom.Me earns you commission. You can place orders for yourself and your customers for delivery to your address. It may be that you'd prefer to have an item for a customer delivered to you, particularly if you are doing an install for example. You may simply want to order the item yourself, have us deliver it to your customer and you invoice your customer directly. If you can earn enough margin to warrant this extra work it makes sense.

If you have a question, just ask it in comments below or send a question to us and we'll be sure to answer it.

Tip No.4 - Add your own text in 'About Us'

Here's your chance to tell visitors to your MoreFrom.Me a little bit about yourself. Use this area to simply tell people who you are or use it to give weight to your opinion. It might be that you're an expert in a certain area of tech or that your business specialises in certain products and services. Adding your own text to your 'About Us' page is the way to profile who you are.

How to add your own text to the 'About us' page
Find under 'My Account'
Go to 'My Account' and log in. the first link under 'My MoreFrom.Me' is 'About Me'. Click on this link and you can type or cut and paste some information into the text box. You have up to 1000 characters to use. When you've added your text click 'Submit for approval'. We'll take quick look and you'll get an email when your text is approved.

Tip No.3 - Add reviews and 'how to' articles

Any review text you add now takes centre stage on your MoreFrom.Me. It's a great way to personalise your MoreFrom.Me even further. The text you add is displayed in it's own highlighted box in a prominent position on the product pages of your MoreFrom.Me.

This featured area can be used for reviews of products you own, not just products you've bought from MoreFrom. It can also be used to talk about the the product in more general terms, you could write about how to set it up, what to do with the product or what makes it better than the alternatives. Your review will be added to our normal review pages, so we ask that you don't refer to yourself in the wording. You name/profile picture or logo will be displayed on your MoreFrom.Me, along side what your write, so it will be clear it's come from you.

This is a good way to show people what products you use or have expertise in. The great thing with adding reviews to your MoreFrom.Me is, if people like the review or recommendation and decide to buy, you'll get something in return.

How to add a review
Find under 'reviews tab' on every product page
To add a review go to the product page for the product you want to work on. Click the 'Reviews' tab and scroll down until you see 'Write review for this product'. Enter a name (a name you're happy to be shown on screen). Then enter the email address used when you set up your MoreFrom.Me. Next, enter your text in the review box, then pick a star rating and you're done. We'll then approve the review and you'll get an email to say it's live.

If you've been a MoreFrom or MoreComputers.com customer and added reviews in the past, all your older reviews will be highlighted on your MoreFrom.Me (providing you used the same email address).

This is a great feature and can give you plenty of opportunities to share links and get prospective buyers to your MoreFrom.Me. Your review can be anything from a few sentences and a star rating to an in-depth analysis and how to article.

Tip No.2 - Pick products for your homepage with My Recommended

For extra personalisation why not choose the products that appear at the top of your homepage?
Using the My Recommended feature
Find in My account under 'My Recommended'
Do you like PCs or Macs? AMD or Intel? You can choose the key products (out of the 100,000+) on your MoreFrom.Me that you think are the best. It could be that you simply always buy Sony or that you've never had a problem with Asus motherboards. This is your chance to fly the flag for the kit and brands you like or simply pick the ones you think will sell the best.
To add a product to your homepage, log in and go to the product you want to add. Just below the 'Buy' button you'll see a grey 'Add to My Recommended' button. Click this button and you're done. You can see all the products you've recommended in the My Account section under 'My Recommended'. You can also remove recommended products from here too.

Tip No.1 - Profile Photos, Logos & Theme Colours

So you've set up your MoreFrom.Me what next?

Take a look in the 'My Account' section, you'll find all the following under 'Edit Theme'

Have you added a profile photo?
Find under 'Add/Change Profile Picture'
Let people know it's you by adding a profile picture, in just the same way you do on Facebook. You can use any picture you like. Why not consider using the same picture you use on any social network sites you frequent, that way people can see instantly it's you. If you'd rather not have a picture of yourself and are not sure what to use, a Google search for something like 'free profile pictures' will return lots of ideas.

Your profile photo should ideally be 70 x 70 pixel, that's the standard size for a Facebook and Twitter profile image. You can use a bigger image and it will be scaled down to fit. The maximum file size is 100KB. If your file is bigger than that it won't upload, please use a photo editing software package to reduce it or try an online tool like www.shrinkpictures.com

The alternative to a profile photo is to go for a full logo or graphic header
Find under 'Add/Change Logo'
Uploading a logo/image will replace the MoreFrom logo, your name and any profile photo you may be using. This is a great option for businesses or if you simply want more room to get creative with your name. This option will also remove your name so it's worth including this in any image you upload. To help you create a great looking image, take a look at free online photo editing tools like Photoshop Online.

Your logo/image should ideally be 90 pixels high and up to 500 pixels wide. You can use a bigger image and it will be scaled down to fit. The maximum file size is 100KB. You can upload .Jpeg, .Gif and .png files. Png files will look better if you're using a text style logo/image.

Did you know the colours are completely customisable?
Find under 'Change Theme Colours'

You don't have to stick with the colour theme you picked at set up, it's easy to choose another 'Suggested Theme'. You can then choose to edit that theme, making colours darker or lighter or picking a new colour altogether. If you have specific colours you would like to use, click on advanced and you can enter the Hex References for the colours you'd like. With the advanced option you can exactly match your MoreFrom.Me colours to the colours you use on your website or blog.
